    It is with regret that the above event has been cancelled, due to circumstances beyond the control of the committee. The event is being re-located to "Big Days in the Park" (Freedom Park) on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 August, run by Plymouth and District Mind in association with Plymouth Folk Roots.

    Two skilled and highly talented musicians from Colorado, Beth Leachman (celtic harp/bodran/vocals) & Margot Krimmel (celtic harp), play a house concert at a private house in Stoke, Plymouth, followed by an open mike session.

This year will be the 7th Folk Festival! We are presenting a lively weekend of music, song and dance, through the participation of many local performers.

Twisted Tales - A Stone Soup evening of Storytelling, Music, and Poetry.
Storytelling with a Twist from Stone Soup, accompanied by an array of local talent during an open platform section for budding Storytellers, Poets, and (Acoustic) Musicians. Suitable for Adults (16+) Only Admission £3.

Freedom Park Folk Fun Day

It was with much regret the June Folk Fun Day in Freedom Park had to be cancelled at the last minute. Plymouth Folk Festival Committee apologises profusely for any inconvenience and disappointment caused. It is with great pleasure that we announce we shall be holding a similar community event and do hope that you will come along and support us.

We are aiming to make this a bigger and better event, so be sure to let us know if you are interested in taking part in any way. Look for our contact details on this website.
