'Plymouth Folk' Themed Concerts
‘Plymouth Folk’ can offer music, song and prose themed events: everything from a ‘concert’ production, a musical boat trip or a living history event to suit your requirements. Themes can be illustrated by traditional song, specially written material and by researched contemporary prose and poetry.
You can advertise your historic site, event or product by the judicious use of ‘living history’ characters, song and music. An example of a possible ‘tailor made’ production could be prose and songs on the theme of liquid refreshment for Plymouth Gin!
Over the past few years, our venues have included the Barbican Theatre, the Abbey Hall, the Drum Theatre, the Swarthmore Centre, the Hyde Park in Mutley Plain and Plymouth Dome. Our repertoire has included the following concerts:

“Jack Tar at Sea and Nancy on the Shore”
- A Christmas Celebration with Mummer’s Play
